Diary of Classic Car Events Around Warwickshire, the Cotswolds and the West Midlands

Based between Stratford upon Avon and Warwick we are ideally situated for all the classic car events and shows that take place in the Midlands, throughout the year, especially those at the following locations:

If you are running a Classic Car Event anywhere in the Country, then we are happy to list it here. We will list Car Club events and shows at no charge, but will make a nominal charge of £5 for a simple listing for a Commercial Event or Show, or £10 to include a link to your own web site and a longer description.

Gaydon Mini Festival

The Gaydon Mini Festival will be held on Sunday 4th July at the Heritage Motor Centre, with camping and a Mini party held on Saturday 3rd the night before with the show taking place on the Sunday.

 

The Show includes the Quick Shift Mini stand with childrens activities for under 14's, the Mini cutout corner, the inter club challenge, the Heritage Run and as a bonus the Slaughter House brewery will be serving traditional local Ale.

The Ford Y & C Model Register is again sponsoring the above rally in association with the Heritage Motor Centre, Gaydon.

Old Fords, and all derivatives, built up to 1982 will be on show exhibiting the tremendous range of vehicles produced by one of the world’s biggest manufacturers. Everything from Model T’s through the cars of the pre-war austerity years, agricultural & military vehicles, and onto the more luxurious post-war Zodiacs and Granadas and sporting Lotus Cortinas and many more will be on show alongside the commercial workhorses carrying the goods to all corners of the world.

The Morgan Sports Car Club is for enthusiasts of the four wheeler Morgan.

There will be a maximum of 4 Tests, subject to time constraints, each one designed to be easy, fun and yet still able to establish your driving skill with a mixture of acceleration & braking. The course will consist of a series of gates, slaloms & turns. Reversing is not allowed and doing so will be treated as a failed test.

MSA Classic Run

This year’s event takes place on Sunday 3rd  October and offers starting locations around the country.  All routes feature dramatic and picturesque countryside and offer some of the best driving roads in Britain.

 

The run is intended as a fun event and is wholly non-competitive. There are no timings or penalties for not following the supplied route and participants are free to travel at their own pace. Each route will contain a number of check points which will be open for a specified period. As in the past, check points have been chosen to be of specific interest to the motoring and motor sport enthusiast, in addition to venues of more general interest.

Classic Motor Show

The Classic Motor Show is all about bringing together people who share a passion for cars.  Every year this traditional 'season grand finale' for the classic car scene attracts many tens of thousands of enthusiasts from all over the UK, Europe and even further away.  The show celebrates all ages, marques and models. The veteran, the vintage, the classic and the future classic, with a huge and diverse display of 1000 cars ranging from the most accessible popular classics through to the thoroughly outrageous and rare exotica.

 

The Classic Motor Show brings together the whole motoring spectrum in this unique annual celebration of the car. Along with the huge car displays, the show hosts the biggest single gathering of UK companies and traders offering every conceivable product and service to the classic car owner/enthusiast plus some superb and unique show features.
